i'd still love to have a car like that.kit,replica, call it whatever you want.i bet it's fun as hell to drive,for short periods at a time.but that's what it's made for.prob turns 95% of peoples heads as it roars by,wondering the same thing.is it real?but you know if you see one just tooling down the road it's prob not,unless jay leno is behind the wheel,then maybe.anyways beiutiful car there Bonafide.i know i'm jealous as hell.

 

Haha very true. To that we owe you a debt of gratitude. I started to read on the Thumpertalk forum about deej ordering his bike and eagerly waiting it and bmwhd comtemplating the purchase also. That was back in November or so? I have been lurking since then all the way to the advent of the KLX250S section on the Kawi board. I have watched in amazement as this section rapidly grew like a family of rabbits. I went to the bike show in January, sat on the bike and decided it was for me. I waited until Spring and bought the bike and joined this board.
And yes, Todd(bmwhd) is a helluva moderator.

 

All righty then, let's all agree we're going to chill on this and proceed in an orderly fashion. Don't make me lock threads or ban folks, that's not productive for anyone.

 

Hey deej, I was the first one to post for the KLX 250 in this forum and you were the first to answer me. so I guess that make the two oldest members here. So here is the question, before you ask the site owner to make us a KLX 250 forum, where were we posting? I can't remember. I know when they made this forum they moved our posts in here but I cant remeber where we started. I know its a silly question but I was just was wondering. BTW I ordered the same bike stand as you. Your posts with the pics of the bike stand, did me in. I just had to have it! LOL... [sm=smiley20.gif]

I think it was the KLR250 board...maybe deej remembers, let's see how good his memory is.

 

Yeah, I can remember when the cars were actually called "The A.C. Shelby Cobra" back in the earlier days.

 

Back on the KLR250 board (I had one back then), I was already riding my KLX250, when everybody else was still just talking about them here -- according to Kawasaki rep, I had the first one east of the Mississippi, and possibly first one sold in the entire U.S., according to him My dealer is a big volume dealer, and pulled some strings to get it, to get me out of his hair! I was bugging him every few days, to get me one asap.
