on ebay, the inner coating is described as "ceramic"
I asked the Ebay seller what specific type of ceramic and their only response was: Ceramic.

limited communication skills i guess....

Too bad we don't have means to communicate directly with the manufacturer. I would also ask them how feasible a 330cc cylinder would be. I bet not hard at all for them to make. They would have a LOT of new customers.

I asked about a 330cc kit, this is their response:

Hello,

I ask my technician, the best power is 300cc.

Regards,

eh.. many here would disagree with their technician. 300 is IMO a bare minimum upgrade for the KLX250s. Imagine 330 would be just about right without overwhelming the stock clutch. I like my 300 cylinder (OEM). I would buy this cylinder and give it a go if I had it to do again.

Whats the 300 cylinder like compared to stock and/or the bigger bores?

Stock was not very fun to ride IMO. 300cc has just enough power to lift the front end in 1st without too much body english, and 2nd gear wheelies are doable with right circumstances.

A friend has a 06 KLX250s with stock cylinder and big gun exhaust. On a moderate uphill (asphalt), I pull him nearly 4 bike lengths in about 200 feet. The 300cc bike has more low end, though, mine does vibrate a little more at higher RPM.

just wondering out loud how much of a downer it would be from a 351. I smoked my BB351, and based on his responses so far i'm trying to figure out what plan B would be if i cant get it repaired. No way i'm dropping the $$$$$$$$ on kustom kraft.

either oem 300cc or this questionable work of art from asia

would still have the mikuni though lol...

Haven't ridden a 330 or 351, afraid I'd like it too much. I have as much in this bike as I paid for it, which is more than enough.

I think its a made in china way of saying they are only capable of making 300cc cylinders, and are unable (unwilling) to do anything else.

on Amazon:

A seller answered your question, "The inner wall is described as ceramic. Can you tell me what type of ceramic specifically?" about AHL Cylinder Head & Piston Kit & Gasket Set....
Amazon Customer answered:
"I promise the inner wall is ceramic, but the specifically we can't provide, hope your understanding."
