So my battery tender is no good? I'm confused. Everyone I know used them on bikes, mowers, and I think a lot of guys use them on snowmobiles too, so all those guys are using the wrong one?

Yours is fine for your bike and other small batteries. Just not for use on dump trucks, race cars or submarines

lol...NO....battery tender makes the sheetzz

I just had to show off my sheetzz of sheetzz..lol. Yours is more of a maintainer which is fine.

Remember when my ktm adv was stolen? They left the light on and dumped it at the RR tracks.....it was over a week before I got it back and the broken ignition was still on with the light on.

Waaaaaaaay dead old battery, the 01 original.....my sheetzz DVD40 reclaimed that bat in 1.5 hrs (got smokin hot thou )....and I still got it in my ktm for over a year now.

If a dvd40 cannot save a bat...nuthin can.

Thanks for the advice everyone, it seems like these batteries are good for a few years in general. I'm back on the road tonight for about 10 days in the Big Truck. I'll try my battery when I get back. I don't have it hooked up to a Tender but It's always started fine after 2 weeks or so. (Stabil Helps) OldPhart, I hope everything's cool with you Bro'. There are plenty of hot ladies out there, go get one and forget all your troubles. I'm glad I still have my KLX. I almost had to sell it to buy food but I finally found work that pays decent.

After sitting 12 days......Today I tried to start my Klx andthe battery let me down. I cranked it for 2-3 seconds about 4 times and thenit just clicked. No big deal...I just hooked up my booster and she cranked right up. It has been quite cold here in NC. Drove her 15 miles to a 2 hour meeting. She started right up after wards and had been sitting out in the cold. I would rather buy a real good battery to replace mine than a tender.
