Default Barkbusters ego

Hi, Just bought a set of Barkbusters ego hand gaurds and just started looking at how to fit them. It looks like clash with just about everything. has any one fitted these to standard bars?? I saw a post where they fitted well with renthal bars. Also saw something about triple clamp mounting kits if any has any photos that would be Awesome Cheers Scott

Don't bother with the triple clamps. The standard fitting kit is the go. I've got the VPS model on Renthal "Jimmy Button" bars.

I've got an 09 and have just fitted ego's.It was a real pain with the standard bars at the end of the day the break cable rubs quite heavily on the front of the ego's no way around it and I had to cut the ends off the levers. The VPS model like westoz's have a lot more room. Good luck

Thanks guys for your replies. Hard to say weather new bars or triple clamps might be the best option. I dont really want to sart cutting down levers and have cables rubbing. Might be best to put the ego,s on ebay and go for the VPS model.
Cheers
