I'll still be around, this is a good forum. Dunno how much I'll be able to contribute with the flood of 09 models and the lack of comparable parts but I'll be lurking. I'll work on pics tonight but I've been informed that my girlfriend has the night planned being that it's my b-day today.....so pics may be put off till the weekend.


The best part of all? This bike is costing me negative $10/month! Our atv loan was just paid off, so there's $50/month in my pocket, I'm switching my car insurance to Progressive so there's $65/month in my pocket (maybe more due to multivehicle discount) and the bike payment plus insurance is only $105/month


Oh...its a torque monster, gotta love a v-twin. But it revs just as high as the KLX too, over 7K and things get interesting real quick as it has 2 stage throttle bodies. Riding 2 up it has more than enough power to pass at highway speeds....without dropping out of 6th gear....more fun if you do though

 

Oh, I also have a KLX300 cylinder I'd part with now

KLX300 cylinder: Piston went bad and took a chunk out of the skirt and scored the walls pretty badly. I've talked to Bill Blue and sent him detailed pictures and he was confident it could be sleeved to a 331 or 340.
