Anyone return to stock???
"The 13T with my current mods it lifts 1st and 2nd with minimal effort."
That is very interesting.. My bike will not wheelie (on power alone.) in second gear. Richard Avatar speaks of second gear wheelies as well... I wonder...

Mostly when speed shifting into 2nd gear at what is probably the fat part of the torque peak.
I haven't really tried to do a wheelie by cracking it open in 2nd. Wheelies are not part of my evaluation procedure or riding habits I guess
-Never thought of it actually.

Well I never did drill the carb...I wonder what significance that will have...
I'm running the 40 pilot which I think is too rich. In fact I tried starting the bike the other day with temps near 32f and it wouldn't start. Not even a hiccup.

Also, aren't wheelies more scientific than dynos?
The undeniable science of Wheelies'.. Performance metric extraordinaire.. LOL
I'm just sniffin for mo-powah - thought I caught a whiff on your post with the 2nd gear wheelie thing..
It is hard for me to understand a MCM not doing anything other than what it is suppose to do - enhance power.. But since I haven't seen charts on standard stage 2 with slip-on, I have to keep an open mind..

I think there was mention of it working a lot better on the EFI model, correct?
No, no mention of that by Marcelino. He did the work on a European EFI bike, not a carbureted one, being in Italy (I believe) rather than the U.S. No comparisons since only done on his own machine.
It does fascinate me that the MCM would ever be questioned at this point. We're talking 69 pages of info and positive findings over 4 years.. It works on all year models and all variations. Unfortunately Marcelino's dyno testing and findings do not correlate to anything we can use.( DIN Hp - and apparently at the crank according to Jeff Ward..) But the effects of the mod, done correctly, should be undeniable at this point.
