How was H&H. I have been in town for two weeks now. Havent had a chance to do much riding, trying to get the house set up still, but I may go this weekend.

 

Figures you are going to Stewart. I will be at Benning for five months starting January.

 

I would rather be at Benning, I grew up not too far from there.

 

If anyone is driving through South Georgia on bike with during the afternoon hours, make sure you wear a thick jacket and a full faced helmet! Its love bug season. they get around your goggles, by the hundreds. I rode to Jessup, GA today, with a long sleeve teeshirt and my off road helmet. Those dang love bugs are painful. It was like riding in a hail storm. I had to stop three times on the 20 mile trip to clean my goggles off. The good news is that they should be gone in about a week or so.

You still in the Hinesville area? I have been in Afghanistan for the past 12 Months should be home is about two weeks and will be doing a lot of riding. If you want to go for a ride sometime let me know.

I may take you up on that offer. I am going to have 30 days off when I get back. Do you need a permit to ride in Ocala National Forest and is four wheeler friendly. We usually try to make riding a family outing with me on the KLX and my wife and son on their four wheelers.

 

Under the current rules...anything without a tag needs a permit...ya can get a 3 day pass for $15 or $75 for a year. Plenty of ridin for quads on the north end.....tagged bikes got free reign on everything Stay away from the black bears!
