make sure you post some pics of the 300 shrouds. id like to see
Will do - I should mention that these are from Maier Manufacturing, http://www.maier-mfg.com . A pair of their shrouds are something like $20 less than a single Kawasaki shroud.

You know I saw those to and thought about buying them but I'm not sure they will work. On the Klx300 the right side shroud is the same I think but the left side doesnt have a bulge in it like the stock 250s does to cover the battery and fluid container. On the 300 klx the left shroud is just vertical. No bulge at all. If you know different please let us know.

What I got are the radiator / gas tank shrouds, not the side plastics. I think you are referring to the side plastics, i.e., number plates. My IMS tank is designed for the KLX300 and the KLX250S shrouds a slightly different, causing minor fitment issue. I'm just going to try the KLX300 ones to see if they work better.

nobrakes, i thought i read somewhere that the ims tanks was actually designed to work with the older klx250 shrouds. i saw somewhere where they sold the 250 shrouds along with the tanks. maybe 4 stroke works??

funny.. I was glad to get an '07 since I like the cosmetic changes (especially the graphics)

guess we're probably all biased by what we're riding though since we all love our bikes! (hopefully)

in any case, even if it only came in pink I still would have bought since it is just such a great [street legal] trail bike!

I didn't see them at FSW, but you are correct, the KLX300 shrouds don't appear to fit the IMS tank. I say appear because my bike is still apart, but even with the tank off I think these are a no go. I guess I need to round up a pair of KLX250R shrouds. Anyone need a pair of KLX300 radiator/tank shrouds?
