Default Anyone have the air/fuel screw turn out on them?

Checked my screw the other day and to my surprise it was turned out 8 times! This would be a very lean condition right? I'm surprised the bike even ran. It must of vibrated out of there or something

Use a new O ring and spring to keep it from moving. Backed out 8 turns is almost falling out and a little richer than out 3 or 4 turns. Not a big deal. IF you use locktite, go for the Blue. O ring and spring are the proper repair.

So the more it is turned out the richer it makes it? I thought it was leaner the farther out it goes?

On this carb it's a fuel screw, not an air screw. Out = more fuel.

The pilot jet mixes air and fuel. The pilot screw adjusts how much of that mixed air and fuel go into the engine at Idle.
