Get the 300R needle (pre 06 & 49 state version), start at second notch from top.

Im not totally sure but i think its coming from where it connects. there isnt like any ruber bushing it just slid right in to the head pipe.

I think with your set up that pilot jet is way too big, especially at 2.5 turns out. I am running the DJ jet kit, stock pilot, 2.5 turns out, no airbox lid and a full Big Gun exhuast. Checked the plug Sunday and it was perfectly light brown. I still get a little pop when letting off from WOT at red line, but it is nothing I am concerned about at all.

You just need the N1TC needle with the clip on the 2cnd notch and drill the slide. Also, remember....a turn on the fuel screw is a full 360deg not 180deg (looking at the slot) so make sure it actually is 2.5 turns.

To fix the exhaust leak, remove the HMF and put some hi-temp gasket sealer (black) on it and slide it back together...common problem with some.
