Any plastic models of the KLX 250s?
While I'm healing does anyone know if there is a plastic model of the KLX 250?
I see Maisto has small already built ones, but a plastic one to put together would be nice!!
Thanks!

The only one's I have seen are the die cast one's that you have to put together. I like plastic over metal. Just me. The one's I have seen are around $18 at Hobby Town U.S.A. and Hobby Lobby. I don't know if you have these stores in your area. If a plastic one come's out, I'll buy it. I have over 200 model cars, and about 35 model airplanes. ( all military planes )
What Happened: Driver pulled out in front of me and WAS ticketed; I've been riding for more than 40 years, motocross, hill climbs, dirt, etc. 1st time for me. Cuts, bruises, and a multi-fracture kneecap. 2006 KLX was totaled but still looked good, no front rim dents, forks good, but frame was bent, so INS totaled it.
Already have a new 2012 KLX 250s, it was delivered a few days ago. Can't ride though maybe for a couple of months yet, need to listen to my Doc.
YES I am a little paranoid now; even telling my wife to watch out someone may pull out in front of you. I keep seeing the Accident over and over in my head. Hope this passes?
2012 KLX 250s---is waiting quietly on a battery tender for me :-)
Thanks

As soon as I read your frame was bent then I remembered about your accident. So I did hear about it. It will be hard to look at a new bike and not be able to ride. Like you said, listen to your doctor.
Hey Stashu,
I've seen comments about your accident and have been meaning to say it's good to see you made it out alive and will recover. Very sorry to hear about it. Hang in there and listen to your doctor. Trying to do the same myself. It's tough when all the bikes are out and hitting the road now. Plastics are a good way to spend the extra time.

Had someone turn left across my path about 20 years ago. I managed to avoid hitting them, and came away with minor injuries to self and bike. Both were back in operation in a couple weeks time. I *STILL* remember every detail of that "accident" to this day!
Hope you heal quickly!!! ...and, *DO* listen to the doc! I broke my collar bone last summer (my fault, off-road "mistake"). Don't push things. It's better to heal right the first time, rather than setting yourself back by doing something stupid.
