Has anyone heard anything if/when there will be 2011 KLX 250s's? I'm still shopping around, if the new ones are right around the corner I'd like to know it. Thanks!

 

Gonna have to wait. Kawasaki is not a real big fan of releasing new models of the KLX. But they are proud to show off their new off-road only line-up.

 

I personally think some new stuff is en-route. Nothing solid, though. Have to wait and see.

 

Again, this is only speculation from what different dealers have hinted at.

Rumors have it that there will be no 2011 model KLX250s so dealers can clear there stock and as an early 2012 release, we will get a fuel injected klx250s. We can thank yamaha for this one.

Also rumors are abound that kawi is seriously contemplating a 450s for the US market.

 

It's about time on the 450. Theres a huge gap between the KLX and KLR and the DRZ400 is getting a bit long in the tooth.

I love my 250 but it just lacks in the torque department, especially on the highway. If I could cruise comfortably at 70 on the hwy for 10-20 mile jaunts, I would be happy as a clam. The klr650 is just too big and bulky for my tastes, I would own a honda xr650 before I owned a klr.

 

If the rumours of a fuel injected KLX 250 for 2012 are true then I can only suggest that you buy the carb model now.

 

ive heard/read things that back this up. and if the do release the 450, im buying that.
