Did another 50 mile ride today-about 30 road, 20 trail. It's a pretty technical/tough trail system, and I was alone so I took it FAIRLY easy..

there is a whole lot of this..and it rained recently so they are wet and VERY slick..


more roots..I took the "easy" way around..HA! wasn't as easy as it looks..


here's the easier section..this lasts for about 1/4 mile


that damned log caused my first crash on the KLX..was more of a "tip over"..lol..


there is whole bunch of this stuff also..yep..I took the muddiest section..HEAR that DEEJ!!


it wasn't all madness and mayhem..the Columbia River..

 

That looks like the typical quad trails here on the peninsula, lots of fun Dave, you're trying to tempt me to come down there. Problem is that my mom and I got into an argument a few days ago, the worst one ever, and so getting down there might not be in the cards for a while.

Sorry to hear about the argument Deej. But I know what you need to do-come down to Castle Rock and make ammends with mom(bring her flowers, take her to dinner, kiss her on the cheek)and then GO RIDING![sm=groupwave.gif] The pics that I posted today would be about 35-40 minutes from 4 corners store in Castle Rock.

 

grrrrrh,,, i hate tree roots on trails, so friggin slippery. they always get my when im hunting too... underneath leaves and u step on them and its like a slide, even worse on the bike, water+tree roots = not going anywhere. Looks like fun place to ride though
