Default To all 351 big bore owners!!!

Hi there!

Here in Canada the season will last for two months... before snow and snowmobile!

So I am planning to buy the 351 big bore in few weeks!

1.Anyone experienced problem with the bore?

2.For how long have you been riding with the bore?

3.Do you think it is relieable on long term?

4.Did you replace the stock carb with a FCR or Mikuni?

thanks

Eric

The stock carbs are rejected of course. The dynojet kit is a great kit!
IMO the pumper carb is a waste of money unless your trying to loft the wheel over large obsticles that you would otherwise not clear.

I think once you do the bb upgrade I think you wont have issues lofting the wheels even with the stock carb.

Save your money and rejet the stock carb.

I had both Bill Blues mikuni and the stock carb on the 300cc kit. I saw no noticible gain to justify the cost of buying a new carb.

I have a 1000 or so miles on mine and all is well. Friends of mine have a lot more than that and they're the same. I have the pumper. They don't. Don't get the pumper. You don't need it. All it really did to begin with was get you a bit more throttle response with the stock bore. That's it nothing more. It's the extra cc's you need not the throttle response so skip the carb and just go with the 351 kit. Bill does great work and will take care of you just like he's done with a lot of us.
