Aftermarket fuel screw - tight
I have my stock carb off for a good cleaning. Before putting it back in I wanted to check on an issue with the extended fuel screw. It starts into the mixture orifice quite easily but about half way in it becomes tight and very hard to turn - even with the T-handle. In order to get it fully seated I have to use a tool for additional torque because the T-handle actually hurts my fingers.
I've put in several extended fuel screws over the years and they all went in just as easily as the stocker. Any experience? Does the washer go above or below the o-ring? That is, against the spring or the seat? Also, I used the spring washer and o-ring from the stock screw. Is there a seperate, different set for the t-handle screw?
TIA
