Hey man, I ride alot in the night.. So how does it compare to the stock headlight in the night? Is it good for long rides in the night?

Should be better than stock as it has two 55 watt bulbs.

Here's the lowdown for ya Savage.
"CYCLOPS HEADLIGHT
The first approved headlight for all on and off-road bikes, it can be used on anything from non-fairing bikes to street fighters. Exclusive customized design: nylon encased, polypropylene number plate, polycarbonate reflector, cast aluminum headlight body and tempered glass lens.

DOT and SAE approved
• Adjustable angle
• Universal fitting with anti-vibration rubber strips
• Protective, transparent polycarbonate lens cover supplied for off-road use
• Heat resistant plastic
• Flood light fitted with 55 watt halogen bulb,
• Spot light fitted with 55 watt halogen bulb and 5 watt incandescent bulb"

I haven't had the bike out yet at night except to run around the yard. First impression is that it's way brighter.

Now if Motostrano can manage to ship me the Vapor I ordered I can get the bike together and go out for a ride.

MC1457, do you think it will stil stick out so far from the forks if I use the straps?

Nah...the straps will hold it at least 2 inches closer to the forks. Probably the best way to go. If I can find a decent way to mount the mini-stalk turn signals I'll probably go that route. A winter project.

Got so damned cold here I might tear it down this weekend and try something different.
