well I went ahead and ordered a 45 toother from deej's linked site. didn't realize they added a $2 "handling" charge until after I placed order. Oh well. It's still cheaper than $75 for a renthal from denniskirk.com, however that would've been here tomorrow had I ordered it today since they're just up in crapasota. Total with everything was $38 which isn't bad. Now I just have to wait and see if the stock chain will be long enough to go around the 3 extra teeth. I think it will since it's at 6 right now on the cam adjuster and I've already lost 1 tooth up front with the 13 toother I added. We'll just see. It will be something cool to look at in my garage over the winter, hehe. You all know what I'm talking about. Something about just having the part and on the bike makes it okay compared to wanting it and waiting for it just because it's winter.
Hey deej, I need to know exactly what your turn signals are and where you got them at. I love them and they look real nice. I have an idea in mind which includes a door hinge to get rid of my under fender altogether and use a hinge to swing the license plate out when needed on the road and in when off-road. A set screw or bolt w/wingnut going through the center of the hinge will lock the hinge in place in either direction. But my goal is to only have the stock taillight and your turn signals on my rear fender. Thanks for the link dude.

 

well, i got the 45-tooth rear sprocket yesterday. i installed it onto the rear hub and then attempted to put the rear wheel back on and found out that the oem chain WILL NOT fit the 45-tooth rear sprocket. it is way too short so i now have to get a few extra links.
