When I ordered my sprocket from them they had to make it either way 39 or 38, so I went with the 38? They could probably make smaller too?

I do notice the guard is wearing more on top just where the chain just hits it, but I have close to 2000 miles on it without it going threw yet.

I bet the guard would wear more in off road conditions instead of all on road. My rear tire never leaves the ground only the front.

Is there any after market heavier swing arm guards?

A 16 tooth does not fit my 07 with an o ring chain.

I run a 15 also with the case saver, it just barely does fit without hit chain.

Mine is an o-ring chain, not sure of brand. It's a tight fit, but no interference with the case saver.
