351 with stock carb (jetting).

Default 351 with stock carb (jetting).

Was wondering what you guys think, 351 kit with stock carb 2500 to 4500 feet with usual mods( air box/filter, muffler, stock header...) . Thinking of running #38 pilot and 132 or 135 main (keihn jet).Also was going to put in a klx300r emulsion tube for jet needle (running n1tc already).

What EMS said. I'm about 2500 ft, just installed 351 and first ride last weekend with #38 pilot and close to a #138 Keihin size. I think its rich on the main and will be trying a smaller size soon.

I run at your altitude and even higher at times (up to about 6000 ft).

I left the stock #35 in there and it runs great. For me, a #38 would be too rich.

I did go with the bigger main jet though, but that was for my Two Brothers pipe/airbox mods more than the 351 kit.

What main you running? DJ or keihn i run up to that elevation abit to so would be a good starting point for me.

Dyno Jet, #128 I think. I'd have to check my notes for sure.
