350cc would probably be fun as a supermoto. Imo, and some will probably argue this, but I think unless you have some major suspension work done, the 300 kit alone is starting to push the boundries of the klx offroad.

I will be jetting the stock CVK for the 331 that I am installing this week. Right now, I am running the DJ needle, third notch, 132, and 2.5 turns on FS. It runs good for the stock 250 cylinder. Once I get it tuned, I am sure it will provide enough for the 331. Maybe one size larger jets for the 350?

I put in the 331 kit last week before I went down to the Pine Barrons. There really isn't THAT much more power there. It is there but it's not HUGE. All I have is stiffer front springs and the bike rides perfect. The big bore does not overpower the chasis or the suspension at all.

Does the KLX250 engine know no bounds? It just keeps getting better. Maybe Kawasaki should really take the hint and build a mid-class 400cc+ dualsport.

We are going to do my engine with the stock carb and pipe. My bike does have the generally accepted list of "free" mods, the KDX snorkle, case breather, drilled slide, drilled pipe end piece, etc.

If there's a way to do this kit with the stock set-up, we'll find it. Any tips on using the 331 kit with the stock carb would be a plus.

Thanks for the 411 Bill. I am interested. Keep us posted on your results. Like I said, I'm sure you'll sell a few here.
No need for all that; just messing with you on verbage

Hey Bake or Bill, what will the exact displacement be?
