Default 2022 KLX300 Dual Sport Stock Handlebar Spec/bend ?

Hi and sorry if this has been a beaten topic. However, I cannot seem to find the 2018 KLX250 or 2021 KLX300 dual sport stock handlebar bend and height - spec.
I am most interested in finding out the sweep and height of the stock bars. If anyone has the spec please let me know.
I will upgrade to Renthal or Pro Taper 7/8. Knowing the spec will let me know how much difference there is between for example the CR High or the Enduro bend.
Would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I don't have the numbers for you, but I will make a recommendation. Go to a bike shop and check out the bar bends. You can pretty much tell if the sweep is right simply by gripping them, your wrist angle is the thing to note. As for rise, you can consider what the stock ones seem to be. If happy with stock, odds are a standard rise in any bend will be good, otherwise consider the high bend if there is one, like CR high bars. One way to get even more height with the bar is to buy an ATV bar. Most are 3-4 inches higher than bike bars.

By the way an interesting bar riser set I found for my street bike has variability based on a series of spacers. APE sells the set in 7/8 bar on Amazon for around $37.

I got a set for my XSR700 street bike. Ranges from around 7/8" to 2-1/2 rise. Allows some variation rather than fixed position.

I have 3 sets of those from amazon, I'm working on putting them on my KTM. There seems to be a problem with the lenght of clutch cable. I'm going to have to pull some plastic to see if I need to order a new longer cable.
I had some installed but want to go up another inch.

I use those risers klx678 posted.
I use a kx high bend with them and it reduces the hunch I get when standing on the pegs.
I also agree that cable routing may need to be adjusted on hi-rise.

Thanks all for your feedback. Went to a store and checked our a few bars. Leaning towards the pro taper 7/8ths. CR High seem quite similar in feel.
If any knows the specs for the stock bars let me know. To satisfy my own curiosity may measure them myself eventually if I cant get an answer online.
Thank you.

All I know about the stock bars was that the shoot out tests from the last of the carbureted versions was that they didn't like the bend of the stock bars - and, of course, no EFI - but that's not what this is about.

I have only had the bike for one and a half months, 150 miles. I am 5'10". The stock bars are actually ok so far. I have been away from riding for 7 years.
Am in my 50's. Started riding dirt bikes when I was a teenager. Still need to get more familiar with the bike.
Am about to change the grips so was thinking of doing the bars. I am thinking these may have a deeper sweep like the Renthal Enduro bars. If you are sitting these bars are ok. If you are standing a lot I can see how these might feel low.
That's why I am trying to figure out the specs so I can see how much variance I will have when upgrading.
I will also need to shave off the tab in the throttle and turn signal housing. I guess if you want something more robust long term, or if the case the throttle slides too much (shouldnt if I wrap some tape) I could buy the 300R (or older KX250) throttle case perhaps, and an aftermarket kill switch and starter.

The bend should be such that your hands are in line with your forearms, so your wrists aren't at an awkward angle. Most MX bars usually are pretty good. I never rode with the stock bars on my 09, it had Renthals when I got it. Arms/wrists/hands line up well and since I only stand when necessary, learned from hare scrambling, if I need to stretch, or have to fart I'm good with the regular MX bars, no risers. I recommend trying with the bars you chose before doing risers. Just because someone else is using them and says you should is not a reason to do so.

My bike had a set of expensive Rox Risers on it. I rode the bike, felt like I had ape hangers on it. Took the risers off and sold them. My brother got some risers. tried them, took them off. Now the street bike is a different story, I'm using risers on it for two reasons. One is to get the bars back closer to me, the other is to fit the bars I want. Don't really need the rise, but the angle of the bar perches make the risers push the bars back.

Short version of this - get bars, ride with them before doing anything else. What may feel awkward at first may become perfect in a few hundred miles.

I found the specs ! It was on a website with a Zeta handlebar simulator and specs. I used the 2008 KLX 250 and onward choice.
It showed the KLX250 08 specs as: Length 784mm, height 97, rise 56, sweep 75. Very much an Enduro bar bend.
I am assuming the 2022 KLX300 will most likely have these bars or something similar. I also did try and measure my bars while still on the bike and got 800 with grips and rise of 57. This sorta matches the above. but very approximate as converted from inches also. Haven't been able to measure height and sweep with switches and mirrors on. Don't need to now. And probably why I hadn't noticed any major complaints. The CR High is similar in height and length just slightly less sweep.
I will keep my stock bars on for now and just change the grips and use it as a baseline to how I want to upgrade.

I looked at the KLX250 04-07 spec and they did seem a bit odd with a 802 length, 88 height and 86 sweep. I could see how these would probably not be that popular.

I bought a Renthal bar and took the stock KLX300 bars off and measured them. They are exactly as mentioned above: Length 784mm, height 97, rise 56, sweep 75.
I bought the 7/8 Renthal CR-High/Ricky Johnson bar (Jeff Stanton/Paul Edmonson/Dakar Medium also listed on the label). Lost of names associated to the 722 Renthal. By the way a CR high is only 95 mm in height so it is 2 mm lower than stock. That is not noticeable. And 63 in sweep, flatter than stock. They feel more comfortable. If I need more height I can always buy a riser.
Now I need to cut the plastic tip off from the throttle and light housing and install. Someone mentioned using rim strip instead of duct tape to stop any movement.
This will be my next project. Also have bought Progrip Rally 714s to put on. Exciting times.
