This happens a LOT on every forum I'm on (15 at least), and no one complains. But oh well, yeah, I stood in a corner with my nose touching the wall all day as punishment. Its a forum for cryin out loud, not wikipedia....!!! So you kids carry on with topic. The old timers are done playing... Sorry to offend anyone. Seems to be everywhere now.
Don't mean to drag this out but I am the original poster, and yes I am a bit disappointed that you guys took over the thread. But what you gonna do? People are like that everywhere, it seems.

Speaking of inconsiderate, how about we start a thread about the NFL players disrespecting the national anthem. Sign of solidarity my ***. It's all about the money, as far as the team owners are concerned. Of course, they're going to side with their multi million dollar black players. They can't afford not to. How's that for a hijack?

That one would go way off with a ton of posts and no consensus.

Now honestly, how much further could your original topic have gone? It isn't like there is a whole lot to be said about the same old bike with EFI stuck on it now, is there?

Where else in a motorcycle vein was it going to go? We took a DEAD thread and added something of personal interest after the thing was DEAD.

KLXter you are the usual old fart who only sees fault with everyone else. You've done your little off topic runs too.

Put 'em up here. The "new" KLX - actually available a few years back in some other nations - has run its course since the only thing possible to say is:

There is a 2018 KLX250 that has EFI. It is the same as the EFI bikes others had some years back.

Now show me the Yammie 250 and I remember friends running Astros.

I was interested to hear about the '18 KLX being back with FI. I'll have to keep an eye out for when I can check one out at my dealer.

If I like it, I'd be damn tempted to trade my '09 Versys on one, swap my supermoto setup from my '07 KLX and put my 2007 back to 100% dirt.

(I like the Versys, I just hardly ride it after putting supermoto wheels on the KLX!)

Don't start talking supermoto here... you see how we got flogged when getting into flat track. And that's 'Merican racin'. Think what will happen with that Frenchie stuff.

I'm still dang happy, a big THANK YOU KAWASAKI!!! Green is good, Honda will lose some market share in this market. Anyone wondering which to get, well, this is the Kawasaki forums.

Have yall seen the HP/TRQ they are getting outta the little Honda with Bill's 305cc big bore kit, exhaust, and a fueler ? Looks like 27-28 hp! We may be talking 30hp 351's with the same - on these new bikes.
