Want to get a slip-on exhaust for the new bike. Not really concerned with extra performance but more for looks and a little less purring kitty sound. What do I do with the O2 sensor that comes on the stock pipe? Anything else I need to do? Thanks.

 

You buy a slipon that has the bung for your O2 sensor.. The other new guys got Yoshimura slipons.. Obviously, all slipons for '18 KLX's will need to have the bung, and I am sure they all will very soon..

 

BTW, I'm also from North Texas (Mckinney). We should hook up for a ride. My other dirt bike is orange (KTM) and a have a Kawasaki Versys LT for longer rides.

Anyone bought one of the new FMF Powercore Q4 for the 2018? FMF says it has the O2 bung on the pipe. Hoping to get some feedback on it before pulling the trigger and getting it.

 

I don't know what feedback you want. The PC4 is my favorite slipon - between my Q4 (too quiet) and my DGR ( too loud ). It is pretty quiet when riding "normal" but with a nice howling when terrorizing..

It is definitely the way to go for performance potential now and in the future.
