I'm new here so firstly all hi, I just brought the 2015 klx 250s and just wondering is it still worth doing the carb mod if so I just replaced the 118 main jet with a 125 and change the slow jet from a 35 to a 38. Any other mods besides pipe, it will be getting used on road also and in Aust

Welcome. What exhaust do you intend to put on?

 

Kind of curious where you live, to get a 2015 with a carb. I thought only the North American bikes still had carbs and that nothing got in at least the U.S. since they couldn't meet EPA standards. I thought Europe/Asia/Australia all had EFI.

Now if you got a 14 new, look at the document I have in my signature for the cheap mods. It goes to a Google Docs document that you should be able to receive.

Didn't think they made a 2015?

 

2015 only available in Europe for now. Read somewhere the 2015 KLX250s is suppose to be made available in the USA in July of this year. Only researched this topic because Inwanted a set of graphics from the 2015 to put on my 2012. Tried to contact via email motorcycle shops in Europe about purchasing the graphics from a 2015 a KLX 250s with no luck. Guess I'll have to wait for its release in the USA and purchase through PARTZiLLA!

Kawasaki Motors Japan will release its 2015 model KLX250 Dual Purpose motorcycle on July 1st. but I've also read that one wouldn't be released in the USA. . like the graphics though.
