I wonder if any on this site has seen the trip and clock reset on their speedometers? It only happens now and then and clock resets to 1:00 and trip resets to 0.0. I have noticed it would happen with low rpm stalls.

thought that only happens when battery is dead or disconnected...did you check all your electrical connections to the battery?..

 

Yes all connections look right

 

If you noticed it during low RPM stalls you probably have a short somewhere that is causing the instrument panel to lose power briefly.

Oh no not a short I hate shorts!

 

When my battery was first starting to fail that was the first symptom. Shortly after that it failed to start with the battery, I replaced it and have been fine for a couple of years now.
