I've been up to about 79 actual, but that was near 10K rpm with 14/49 or 15/49 gears. And *****.

The problem that I find with the KLX is that it is so high off the ground and light in weight compared to other street bikes, that when a cross wind hits you, it can get kind of scary to see what the top speed is....

mine is only off by 2 mph at most...but, i use the garmin gps for real speed...

SpeedoDRD will fix it. Plug and play, simple. Mine was -9.7% off. Now, it's 100% dead-on to the 10th.

Fastest I've had my 250S was 86 (GPS), and that was before I did the DynoJet, snorkel, and pipe.

Not sure if I gained any top end speed after jetting, but that's not what I really care about anyway. I picked up great low end power, all the way through the 8,000 RPM range. I can now accerate in high gear on hills I used to have to drop a gear to pick up any speed. That's what I was looking for... not max speed.
