2007 klx250h
Hey guys, only just joined the forum. However i have been in this section for 2 days now learning bits and pieces. I would like to thank you all for this information. However 1 question remains un answered and is bugging me to no end because i need this answer to order a header pipe and dial a jet kit.
The question is: In the states, what do you call a KLX250H? I have seen heaps of posts saying that a 250S is the same as a 250R in Australia (which is where i live). I have already ordered the FMF Q4 quiet slip on, but i cant order the mega bomb untill i can find one that will fit for sure as it will be a long and costly process of trying to get the right one through returns.
The other issue is getting the correct dial a jet kit. There are 3 different kits. And once again, ordering from the states will make it harder to return the wrong items. I wouldnt have a problem emailing people about this issue but all the people i talk to about the header have no idea and dial a jet will only take calls in regards to questions (which is out of the question for me).
The bike is a 2007 KLX250H built 06/2007.
Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
IIRC, there is no dial-a jet kit available for our CV carbs. The dial-a-jet's are for the pumper carbs. At least I was unable to locate one. If you find one that fits, please let us know.

I have a US model '07 KLX and it is referred to as a KLX250S, but on the manufacturer frame sticker the VIN code starts with "JKALX250MH1.......) and then below that it also says "(LX250H)".
I saved the email receipt from when I ordered my exhaust and jet kit from Dennis Kirk http://www.denniskirk.com/ which all ended up fitting right and working great. Although keep in mind my header is Powerbomb and not Megabomb.
I hope this can help you!
