2007 KLX250d -front shock leak
Hi,
I just purchased my first bike. Its great fun. Why I waited till I am almost forty to do this is beyond me.
I have noticed a small amount of fluid leaking from the seal on the front shock. Is there a quick remedy for this? The seal does not appear to be broken/cracked. It only leaks for a short time after I ride it.ie: when the shock is warm.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Ron

Welcome Ron.
Try cleaning between the seal and the fork slider with something like a thin piece of flat plastic.
I used a piece of mylar sheet but an old negative strip would work a treat.
Also, you can release the pressure in the forks by unscrewing the screws in the top of the fork caps.
Good luck.
