2007 KLX250 Throttle cable question

It's just a matter of fiddling with it until there is nothing pinching or pulling on the cables. Tucking them close to the frame usually works. Just set the gas tank in the frame without bolting the tank down, and do a test like that until the throttle acts properly. It's kind of a finesse thing but once you get the feel for it, you can do it on most bikes

Thanks Patrick! I managed to get it pretty good. I found that having the return cable screwed in as low as possible with the most direct path and that worked. Ready to go riding on ice tomorrow!
