If the bike is running fine and a plug check shows the electrode a nice tan color I'd be satisfied. If i'ts white you need to rejet. This is from a guy with 4 bikes with FI who forgot most of what he used to know about carburetors but I think a plug check is stll a good indicator.
You can do a traditional plug check ONLY if you are burning straight gasoline.
If you are burning E10 (ethanol'd gas) you will have to re-educate yourself, thru research, regarding plug reading....
Hint:: With E10, powdery white is exactly what you are wanting to see for an overall insulator color.
