I just bought a 1996 klx 250 that was purchased brand new through Larry Roeslers Stroker Speed equipment Company in 1995.

The bike is all original I purchased it from a friend who bought it brand new. At the time you could purchase a brand new bike with the stroker kit through Roesler s company.

It’s still runs great and I am trying to freshen it up with a new plastic. I was able to get a replica set of radiator shroud graphics through Decal works.

But I’m having a hard time trying to buy a new set of radiator shroud’s.

Can I use radiator shroud’s from a newer year klx 250 or 300. I have noticed the shape of the shrouds have changed but if the mounting points are the same that would be fine.

Do you realize most of the folks on this forum were either not born yet or just out of diapers when your bike was built!!!
