1993 KX fork swap
I did search and saw some threads but for the KLX-R owners.. the S models have the ignition switch built into the top clamp so I can't swap the entire tree. Hoping the legs will swap out -- why didn't you use the forks you have available?
I am buying a different setup for my bike.
Article here, and the stock triples work. I think i also have the KX triples, too.

I read that article earlier. He is swapping internals and not the whole fork legs (in order to keep the same ride height).
I want to swap legs to get a little taller seat height, so that article isn't as helpful for me.
What setup are you going with?

Be sure to compare the length of the KX and KLX forks from axel to top in order to keep the steering geometry the same.

Yeah that's not what I want.
Since I cannot find anyone with a KLX250S who has done this swap, I've picked up a cheap set of 93 forks on Ebay and will see what all is involved. Again, I want increased seat height which the KX forks supposedly offer. I'm also using a set of 112.5mm oem KDX200 pull rods to give a little more height on the rear.
Guess I will make this thread my info/how to.. if it can be done at all.
