Now that the weekend is almost gone and hopefully you had a real chance to take it out for a good test ride, can you tell me how much the speedometer is off?

I will go with the same method as i did with my xr650r, nothing scientific mind you, just have my wife drive at a constant 25mph and note the speed on my speedo. From this I can do a little math and express the difference as a percentage and simply factor that when I ride.I don't have much trouble with speed and therefore this has been less of a concern to me. The better way to to buy an electronic speedo with sensor that attaches to wheel and hub, but even that needs to be calibrated for it to be accurrate. I tried this once on a CR250r I had street plated but it never seemed to work properly and varied speed wildly despite my best efforts to mount and calibrate it. Perhaps other members have had better results with those devices.
