I'm curious too. I've done some looking and currently I think the IMS tank is the nicest fit and finish and reasonably priced at 247 from rocky mountain. With free shipping I might add. : P

I've been eyeing a PMRack with a Rotopax and mount also. All three of these are about 100 bucks less all together then the IMS tank. Less effort to install as well. In all honesty though I'm still leaning towards the IMS tank. Its cleaner, looks stock, leaves room for more in the rear and less burden on the rear frame/fender area.

Hey Brien, how do you like the fit an finish after its been on your bike for a while now? Post up some pics if you have time. I'd be curious to see how the whole thing looks with the plastics installed and all that. Any thing you'd change or don't like?

I think the two most popular are the Acerbis and IMS. The IMS is 3 gal. and allows you to keep your plastics. The Acerbis is what 3.5-3.7 gal. and it has two wings that hold the gas in place of the side fairings. The only thing negative I've heard about them is when you get low you have to shake the gas over from one wing to the other.

I wanted to keep my plastics so the IMS was the only choice for me. I'm glad I finally did it, the extra miles are nice...

Yeah but you sell your plastics and apply that to the price of the acerbis

The acrebis does not fit the 2009 and ups. You can make it stay on the bike but there are gaps in the plastics and cutting necessary. Only the IMS is made for these newer bikes.
