Default '13 KLX250s Jetting Question?

Ok, I got my '13 KLX250s, I had a FMF Powercore4 slip on, and now I ordered the Megabomb header. No shop in my area wants to jet it for me, because nobody knows how to jet Kawasaki for whatever reason. Anybody could tell me what and how and what I need to jet it? All we really need are the jet numbers .. thanks

Unless you have a specific question there are lots of threads on jetting. You can also use the jetting spreadsheet to assit you with configurations.

The dynojet site has free instructions available that are worth a look even if you just buy jets.

GO to a Kawasaki dealer, mine charged me $230 to jet it and tune it to run with a uni air filter and no snorkel. Runs like a bat out of hell and with the megabomb you should be a little bit more powerful than mine.

He said he couldn't find anywhere to do it. I'm in California and couldn't find any shops either. It wasn't because of lack or knowledge or anything, shops were just reluctant to bypass the EPA standards. So I ended up doing it myself.

I did the tear-down on a Friday evening after work and rejetted the carb the following morning and put it all back together. My only advise is to pull the smog crap while your at it. It'll make the job a little more complex but will be easier to put back together (less hoses).
