You need to take off the plastic headlight ring/fairing to get to the speedo connector.

I think you may need to remove the stock front fender to do this IIRC.

Goes behind the headlight. I took the headlight shroud off, and was able to access it easily. Much simpler than replacing the headlight lamp, which took me about an hour...

BYW - mine was off exactly 9.7%. Now it's accurate to a 10th of a MPH according to my GPS.

Instructions look complicated, but the process really isn't. Read it through a few times until it makes sense.

got mine installed
5 min install, 5 min to figure out how to program (kind of hard) only because you have to jump around on the instructions

set mine to -11%
dead on to my gps at all speeds, fast or slow
so im happy works great

took some pics
after removing the headlight shroud only

Just happens the white connector you tap into was just sitting right there

after that you can just close everything back up
I left it loose incase I needed to readjust it
then I tucked it under the black rubber cover over my gauges and I can access it any time

Exactly what I did... sits under the water-proof flap, safe and sound.
