Default is a 128 main too small

I plan on running a full exhaust system, no air box lid, removing the back fire screen, removing smog, and a twins air filter. Is a 128 main too small? I will be buying the N1TC needle and all componets seperatly but didn't see any part numbers for any larger jets then a 128. Thanks for the help.

Beg, borrow or steal a 140 mj. If you are running full pipe and no lid you will like it. Me and two more klxr's ran this setup and it pulls evil to redline.... No big deal if you don/t like it's not a big dollar investment.

I am in eastern PA. What websites can you get your elevation at?

Use Google Earth to find your house and it tells you elevation...

yep, the KLX runs like crap with the lid fully removed if you have too small MJ. I have 128 and attempted the no lid and it spit and sputtered. I yanked the oem snorkel out and enlarged the hole and then put the lid back on and it runs real well. will do redline no problem if you wish. i'd go 40 pilot jet no question though. otherwise it will be hard to start and it will pop on deceleration. not a big issue, but the hard starting will enrage you, trust me.
Hey Iowa I saw a couple of the Big Gun pipes yesterday on the ride, and I gotta say as much as I really like my pipe, those pipes look awesome. Scats pipe was so clean on the outside, I really like the coating, seems to be holding up real well.

As far as the jets, I have the 132 and the 40 no air box lid, full muzzy, and the bikes is awesome.......But that big gun.....man!! If I ever wreck and destroy my pipe, I know what I'm getting next.
