Hi,

Is there anything I should do at 100 miles that isn't listed in the manual?

When should I do the first oil change? What oil and oil filter do you guys use?

I changed my oil at about 575 miles. I used Kawasaki 4 stroke 10w40 and filter from the dealer. I went with the easy break in method though.
You might want to check the slack in the chain and make sure the bolts and nuts are still tight.

 

Yea keep riding and have fun. Ok seriously I changed oil at 40 miles after the Mototune break in, (not meant to start a break-in debate) and then again at 200 then 400. Check the chain slack and always and I mean every time you ride, make sure the brake light is working, its your best defense from other drivers following you.

 

Cool I am going to do the oil change on Tuesday.. I gotta pick up the manual too.

 

I changed mine at 500 miles with Silkolene Semi Syn and it seems to shift a bit smoother
