Default 09 slip-on exhaust on a 06 ???

Can anyone tell me if a slip on exhaust for a 2009 model KLX250 will fit a 2006 KLX250s.
I was told by DG Performance it will not.
Thanks !!!

DG's slip on is obnoxiously loud. One of the loudest you will find on the market. Q4 with Megabomb is better performance and quieter (but not anything like stock.. even it will make ears bleed as you roost by WFO)

Ok Thanks.
I was looking at a DG as it has screws rather than rivets on the can making it easier to service. They told me the only make 2009 and later for the KLX250s. Thus my question for the fitment change bewteen years if there is one.
Thanks
D-

you could get a rivet gun, they are simple to use. I had the DG and took it right back off.

Wish I could help....I have a DG and think its fine, but not sure about fitment throughout the years. I bet you could read some old threads and dig up the answer though.

XCcarpenter,
Would it be possible to send me a photo of the muffler on your bike with the side cover off? If so please PM me. I just trying to find out if a frame change took place in 2009.
Thanks !!

I know this question has been answered many times in here - recently, in fact.. You'll need to use the search functions.. I can't remember which member verified good fitment recently..

Yes I am well aware of the "search function". It gave me "0" results when inputing many different words and phrases.
It's amazing how upset people get these days when you ask a question............
I really thought someone may know the answer and not play stupid games.
This forum was a whole lot better 10 years ago.
