full muzzy installed over the weekend. took all of 15 minutes to remove old and install new. Bike runs 300% better with new exhaust and air filter. Still have to rejet. parts arrive today so will rejet and 13T tomorrow. Then I think i am done with mods, I hope.

hey dude, glad I could steer you in the right direction with your mods. That Muzzy will be the single best mod you do to your bike. The 13-toother will help immensely as well, but I feel the '09 has a little more git up and go compared to the '06 in stock form and even though I have a 13-toother on my bench I may hold off from installing it for a little while as I'm loving the 6000rpms at 60mph. I am holding off on an exhaust right now as well. I like the two-brothers but just can't get past the inflated price. I mean for $60 more I could have a full BigGun system so I'm still on the fence. I'll do the sprocket some evening when my neighbor is over here. I'm loving the bike as is from the factory at the moment. That will change I'm sure as it warms up and the 50 mph winds die down. Got a pic of the Muzzy on your green or did you have red?

I don't know, that Forum search engine isn't all that effective.

No? I must have spent 4-6 hours on it last week researching exhausts, no kidding. I love it. Plus, I get to go back and read all the IG hoopla from the past and laugh. It's like a soap at times.

Alright cosmick Someone has to go first......I just hope that moose part number is the same one posted for the 06-07 klx ...lol

IG is good at telling people what works without actually trying it himself.

I wonder where that part # came from? Checking the application guide at

http://www.mooseracing.com/pdf/sprocketsaluminum.pdf

the 09 isn't listed, and the front sprocket for the 06-07 is 1212-0073.

I'm confused.
