I have found that the 09 model is actually too low in the rear (in fact the rear travel is 1 " shorter than the front and therefore not well balanced), and I reckon it really needs to lift the rear a little- my opinion.

I found these - see the 2009 1" raising links. I reckon they will balance out the bike so you dont feel like you are slightly leaning backwards, and well they give you extra travel (but also raise your seat height a bit).

yep my sag in fact is a little on the stiffer side of things to compensate. As I said the rear travel is 1 inch less, where on most bikes if anything the rear should be equal or an inch more travel.

 

I've got the 1" raising links on my 06 klx.....they are actually 3/4"....1" won't fit.

It really helped the 06 geometry.....I imagine it would make an even bigger difference on an 09 which has shorter dogbones than a stock 06
