I am replacing all of the plastics on my 06 250s. I really like the looks of the 09 number plates and rad shrouds. I have been looking at some pics and they look like theyd bolt right on anyone try this??

I am going to put the newer kx front fender on and the newer klx headlight. I am also re-doing the rear end with a different fender/tailight setup. I just think that the newer plastics would look better.

I am spending the money for new plastics regardless, so if Im spending the money Id like to update the look a little bit.

I'll take the old shrouds and rear side plastics if there in good shape.

 

HAHA!!! Well the reason Im replacing the rad shrouds is because they are both cracked and on th eleft side thte shroud is actually 3 pcs!

The number plates are actually still useable so I plan on keeping them regardless of what I end up doing.

I don't think the 09 rad shrouds will bolt up to the 06-07's. The top mounting bolt on the tank, at least, looks like it's in a different spot.

 

That's right; the rad shrouds won't fit. There's a custom section in one of the motard rags I read over here. They tried fitting 09 rad shouds to an 07 KLX. Big time fitment issues. Nothing matches up.

 

If anyone is interested in 09 white plastics I have some in really good shape (6 months old). I'll send pics if you like. 2 fork guards, 2 white sides, and the upper white headlight piece. PM me with a reasonable offer if interested.

 

I've got a stock 06/07 front fender (not so good shape), 1 white side number plate, I think left side? (In not bad shape), and left and right number plates that are scratched a little, and painted black.
