100 miles in one day was enough for my a$$. I did a six hour experience rider course, wasnt alot of miles, but it was six hours in the heat. My a$$ was done, didnt get on the bike for 4 days after that. The seat is my only complaint on this bike, short or long runs.

 

I have about 1200 miles logged in on my new bike. About a quarter of those miles are off road riding over the last month. I love this bike.

 

I have put 337 miles in one day on my bike. From my house to the "Tail of the Dragon" in NC. Those were 100% blacktop, round trip miles. It wasn't too bad on my tush. I wear padded shorts (bicycle shorts) on long rides and powder my cheeks I think I was on the bike for about 10 hours that day and rode mostly in the 60+ mph range.

I've got almost 3000 miles on my bike and I've had it since June 30th.

 

Drove my bike home on April 5,2008 with 2 miles. Just turned over 6000 miles yesterday. Average daily ride is about 60 miles round trip.
