Mine holds fine at 65 miles an hour (fastest i've ever dared push it). I have 19 pounds in each tire cold (A bit low, but the ambient temps are so high now, I know I gain a couple PSI mid-ride). I'm no expert but I'd think the 30 pounds is playing a factor. Maybe try dropping five pounds and see if that stables it out?

30 .lbs is a bit high. you need the tire to flex some. are you running the stock tires? at 65 mph the bike should be running true. try dropping your pressures down to 20 or so and see how the bike rides.

Its not that bad...A newb would still drive...But not me...I havent gone down and will contnue to try not.....Signed the ungeared 1...
I have to disagree... A n00b would be scared of the wobbles... A seasoned rider would know that this kind of **** happens when you ride a dirt bike on the highway.

Me... I just ride through em. No big deal, happens all the time... I call it more of an oscillation, and I believe it's due to the cross winds catching the front fender.
Just pull your weight back on the seat, loosen up a bit, and relax. You're not going to crash.

My 09 came with Dun 605's, i run 24psi front and back for the most part. i am 6' #210 and have had no speed wobbles. i have noticed that wind is a huge factor on the KLX being a big guy! when riding a fast pavement leg i ride with my weight more forward, front of seat with legs / knees gripping tank, back bent, head up for aerodynamics.

Be safe!

21" front wheels are kind of notorious for this, above are some good suggestions also try apllying pressure forward on the bars, A balanced IRC GP110 tire cured it for me.

I experienced the Wobbles bad on my '07. Once I realized sliding back fixes it, I will got up to 85 registered on speedo with no fear. I still have the front wheel on at 2000+ Miles. The rear is a Kenda 270. Sweet tire in my opinion. I love this bike.

I turned the rear coil upper valve 2 clicks clockwise and no more wobble....Hmmm....That was simple....I wouldnt have thought two clicks fix it...

I think most wobble is from geometry. If the front end is compressed down, the rake and trail decrease making the bike vulnerable to crosswinds and buffeting from other traffic. Shifting your weight back lets the fork ride high in it's travel, making the bike more stable. I routinely ride at terminal velocity (85-100 indicated) and have no problems with stock tires at 30psi for street. Stiffer fork springs will help, but getting your *** back when tucked in will stop overloading the front end.
