I don't know if this has been posted yet but FMF lists 2 different part numbers for the 06-07, and the 09 Q4 slip ons. Sounds to me like there is a slight difference in either the mounting configuration or the attachment at the midpipe.

it's been proven that previous year exhausts bolt right onto the '09. there is no difference with the bike, maybe they changed their exhausts. they're so long, so maybe they shortened them up to clear the turn signal or something. they're ungodly long on the bike, they look like a growth protruding from the rear of the bike to me.[:-]
