I'm looking to add a custom auxiliary light mount to my 1999 KLR 250 and saw, what appear to be, mounting holes on the front of the fork. Any ideas what they were originally intended for? I'm planning on fabricating a custom auxiliary light mount and these holes would work great for that, however, before I jumped down that rabbit hole, I figured I'd check to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid. Also, if anyone knows the screw size for those holes that would help me out too. Thanks in advance, everyone.
