I have a2007 KLX 250 and i am not sure where to mount it as it is far smaller than the stock cluster. Pros/cons of mounting it right on the handlebars in between the grips? Off set? what have you guys done, pics are appreciated!

 

I bought the trail tech mounting bracket it wasn't perfect I would have preferred it to be a little more towards the vertical but most accessories are a compromise. Oh yeah I could not remove the key.

 

i have the stock plastic mount, and i would like to be able to remove the key, has anyone mounted it directly to the middle bar of the handle bars?

 

Since those photo's I added some brackets to move it forward and allow access to the key. I can get a photo if you want.

 

If you have photos of the new mounts, I would like to see them. I am thinking of mounting up a vapor on an 06.
