Hi and thanks for all your help and advice 
she is now running after cleaning the carbs ,seting the float levels and fitting NEW PLUGS . Although the plugs looked newish (800miles since fitted but that was in 2001) All that aggro for a set of plugs 
now to add my bits and then I`ll put a photo up. Thanks again Mel.
