nomad clutch problem

when I put it in gear engine stalls,,,,2002 nomad

Look into your clutch cable adjustment first. A simple check to see if that is the issue or not. How many miles on the ride?

What oil and when was it changed last?

Does the bike have a kick stand switch. Could be bad thinking it is still down. Common on the KLX.

Yeah sounds like a bad stand switch, or he's trying to put it in gear with the kickstand down!
