Default Need to fix the mirror on my 2006 Ninja EX250

The mirror assembly of my 2006 Ninja EX250 comes with a little black rubber bushing that I am missing. The Kawasaki dealer does not sell this bushing by itself, I would have to buy the entire mirrors assembly. Any suggestion on how I can get just this part or something similar I could use in stead. (the part looks like half of a rubber ball with a hole through the center).

Might try a cut-out piece from some closed cell, almost rubbery (not the styrofoam-like stuff) pipe insulation at hardware (Lowe's, Home Depot) store? Don't know what the piece looks like, but probably would work.....?

ouch, stop disassembling your mirror! lol Looks like making your own bushing will be the way to go on this one. $80 to replace the entire assembly is a tough one for sure.
